Can you please send me your DeveloperLog.log?  it looks like I need to debug VS with Controlled Folder Access enabled... it should be easy to reproduce.  Thank you!

A few days ago I got a Command Line prompt in VS which I recognised as something that was in connection to failed updates in Windows, 3 times previously.

Having understood that this 'command line' seemed relevant [see first screenshot], and seeing it for the first time via VoodooShield, I saw the connection to the first 3 failures in getting this Window update installed.

So, in allowing this 'Command line' to run, it was 4th time a charm for the update, as can be seen from the final two screenshots.

I stuffed the previous post in placing the images, and I can't modify the post to show the correct placement. So apologies!  But, I think you get the gist. :)

All good here Dan, no worries ;)
Very cool, thank you guys, talk to you asap!
could VS connect network through a proxy(http,sock5,etc)? I really need this.
Oops, I totally forgot to finish up that feature, thank you for letting me know.  That will certainly be fixed in VS 5.0, and if it is not fixed in the early betas, please remind me.  BTW, the good news about VS 5.0 is that there should be very, very few new bugs created during development.  Most of the dev work has to do with features and kind of the "perimeter", so it should be quick and easy.  Thank you!

Thanks for your work!I am looking forward to the new version.

Any chance to get the whitelist screen to fullscreen? (what you see is maximised whitelist enabled) When you see stuff like 10+ firefox rules and have to scroll all the way to the right to see which one is from which process is not easy for the eyes :D

+1.  Just a simple Marlett set in top right so we can also expand User Log, Command Lines and Quarantine.  Or a F11 toggle  8)

I do like the way you incorporate the Windows Dektop settings (fortunately I can use the Windows Classic Desktop):

I could easily get on board with that idea.  8)

I like that idea too and would like to see User Log added.

Re: VoodooShield v4 STABLE Thread / Update Check
« Reply #1316 on: February 06, 2019, 05:46:35 pm »
Speaking of updates...

When I right-click the tray icon and open VS by selecting "VoodooShield Settings", I occasionally click the "Update Check" button at the bottom of the VS Basic Settings window. When I do, I've noticed that the responding "VoodooShield Update" window appears behind the main VS window, instead of taking screen presence as the active window.

This happened when I ran Win8.1 and now with Win10.

Anyone else?

There is a setting for this but it doesn't do anything that I can see.
