I think the Favorites icon needs changed to show up better.
Right now it has the Calendar but it looks too washed out and hard to know what it is.

Yes hewee, I see what you mean. It's a pixel issue from what I see.

I´m using NoScript and it was blocking it-mate.co.uk, after allowing scripts i get the advanced editor when clicking on the reply-button.
Problem solved.

I've corrected the boards config URLs (were still pointing to the sub-domain I created for initial testing (minor change in the SMF ACP thankfully)), cheers for the heads up :)

May be my fault for doing a direct resize conversion to .ico (kept the transparency), will get it fixed, cheers :)

/edit

Let me know if it's any better now (I've never been much of a graphics person :( )

Maybe I can can do it because it looks like you have it to show this image here.
http://calendarofupdates.org/images/imgcoucalendar.png
But you're seeing a smaller version for the Favorites icon.

OK it was at 58% Transparency.

Here is an icon and .png version. They are not adjust to size so let me know if you can use them.

The one you had at 58% Transparency you would never be able to do much with to be able to see it so at 100% you can see more.

I can help on the banner too.

I would prefer Security News be changed to Technology News, otherwise I wont be able to post as many stories there.

Otherwise everything is working just fine for me so far.

That is not a good idea.
"Security News" and "Technology News" are two different things and need to be separated.
A section for "Technology News" might be a good idea, but then it should be created elsewhere in the forum.

You know maybe we need something else. I remember we played around trying to come up with something when Donna change to that floppy disk.

What font is the C in Calendarofupdates?

I will play around when I get time to see what I can do.

The font is Verdana (always had a soft spot for it, not sure why (just looks good))

That is also a font I like.

The Calendar of Updates in the banner before I liked too but do not know what it is. I give the banner and did changes but the  Calendar of Updates font I never knew what it was or did I get the Font of it. I got an image of the text. Or I never seen it because I was given a psd file but all the work I did was in PhotoImpact and saved as .ufo and some .psd. So if I had the text as a font I don't know but all the font is now an image.

I did more icons and banners. If they look the same then take another look because I don't think any are the same. Some the Calendar image is 100% and others at 58%
Then banner or logo 7 and 8 is just the Calendar and text. So you could use or would see the site page background and you can leave out or still add the tile http://calendarofupdates.org/images/imglogotile.jpg to it. May look better and make it match with the site better.
Was going to do more but I start to get mixed up on what was done and what effect so your need to check each to see how they show up.
