Agent.exe from Battle Net Possible Exploit
« on: December 02, 2018, 09:49:20 am »

Since a week or so, i have this message everytimes i'm running Battle Net Client to play Blizzard's games.
I'm on AUTOMODE but i can't figure out what's going on.
If i'm blocking as Voodooshield suggesting, then i can't play.
I have re-installed the Battle Net client, but it's still happening.

I had this with latest official 4.53, i've installed since a few days ago the 4.67 versions.

Thanks :)

I would try scanning the file and url at Virus Total.
See what the scan comes up with. Sorry I’m not using Voodoo and you should be able to white list the file.

After scanning at Total Virus I would wait to see what Dan says about the file.
Sorry I cannot assist you anymore than what I have posted.
Oh one thing I forgot to mention is if you have Malwarebytes installed on your OS you could scan it to with Malwarebytes.

I find it annoying but i think i can only blame blizzard for it.

I just allowed the warning since i trusted blizzard and the games legit from the homepage. (But thats my choice not suggestion :D )
HMP scan and EEK scan never flagged any agent.exe for me.

Total guess:
agent.exe needs admin rights for whatever task it does> flagged as exploit

@Dräffendrüks Maybe ask the question in the VoodooShield v4 STABLE Thread? More people read it and maybe more answers.
