Voodooshield alone?
« on: April 10, 2019, 10:42:59 am »
 Hi Dan. Newcomer here.
First I wanna thank you for a great piece of anti malware software, and then I have a question. I have noticed most people run a resident antivirus along with VS.  The last week I have been running VS without any resident antivirus, as I think it's needless to run an antivirus when VS work the way it does. I do have hitman pro premium  to make a quick scan when the computer opens, but would you mean it's best to use a "normal" antivirus too? Thanks.

I'm not Dan but I can say some people do run VS alone. Probably many use an AV. It really just depends on your level of comfort. Having a 2nd opinion scanner of your choice is a good idea if you run it alone, and you already have a good one in Hitman.  8)

Thank you oldschool. After I have seen how effective VS is, I feel fine with just using a good on demand scanner like Hitman. :)

You are welcome. I use Windows Defender simply because it is built-in.
