Ehhhh... Dan.
I had to create account on another forums just to follow VS discussion but VS is worth it :)

Thank you, I certainly appreciate that!  I think this forum will be a lot more productive for everyone, and hopefully we can set an example of how forums should operate.

The ironic thing is that most of the bugs are fixed... so there may not be too much to talk about ;).

I will post a link to the next version in the next couple of days... hopefully it will be the last version before the public release.

Hello Dan

I am thinking even if you get all the bugs out of VS, there will still be newbies that are still going to need help but am pretty sure now that the word got out you are here, more of the old users will start showing up. Wow Last night I thought this forum was the hardest ever to sign up for but I think it might have been I had a few too many. I saw what you meant about private messages not being private on MT. I went to look at a conversation I was having with a member and noticed it was locked. I am not sure but think only a mod or admin can do that. This morning it was unlocked again.

Very sad that there forum software would allow Admins or Mods to read PM's, the forum software we use here we cannot read PM's and we shouldn't be able to as they are Private Messages.  :o

@VoodooShield feel free to say what you like as you had enough from the other two forums! But if Trolls just want to come here it's best if they not as they will be Banned but it's time to have professional VS discussions on any topic from testing, to learning more about VS as I have been using VS before v1 came out!

Daniel
Well said, Daniel...that is spot on!

It looks like I have missed the action.
Hopefully things will be calmer for you here Dan and we can get down to some serious discussions.

question related to v4.12b & cuckoo on my pc. running win7.  recently uninstalled EAM (very solid, like it) and trying cylance (again).  Cy is fast and light from what I can see.  & cy is not causing any problems that are obvious.  It did quarantine 8 files shortly after install with a "background detection" ie those files were not running, and it seems you don't really tell cy to run a scan, although you can tell it to scan a specific folder, etc.  So... I wanted to check some file with VS/VAi as I think it had a score of 99 but no VT flags!  tried to send the file to cuckoo sandbox via VS and no response from my browser.   ???  Cy has very detailed reports and I'm not seeing that it is blocking some aspect of VS/cuckoo, and also not seeing that my firewall is blocking cuckoo (& it never has in the past).  Any way to get help from VS logs to show what's going on with cuckoo, will the logs, can they, do they show what might be blocking VS sending to cuckoo.  The features in VS are great, not only pc lock, VT info, and cuckoo sandbox.  ;D Dan told me that cy+vs is a solid combo.   8)

it took me several attempts over 2 days to register here. Not sure why? Don't care now.
I do miss the flags that show new NEW posts.  is that a forum software thing?

Great to see you here!  Hmmm, it is really difficult to say for sure... is there any chance you can send me the files in a zipped file... you might need to rename the .zip to .zi1 or something so it is not blocked.  The DeveloperLog.log would probably tell you something if there was as an exception / error... so right after you try to upload one to Cuckoo, check the last log entries and if you do not see the word "Exception", then nothing went wrong.  Also, you might check the file size... is it 0?  If so, that might be what is going on.

Let me ask you this... do some files work with Cuckoo, and some do not?

What kind of files are they?  Thank you!
