My prayers go out to all that has been effected by this cowardly act.

Note that the latest version of iCloud which is 5.0 integrates with Outlook 2007 and later with the exception of Outlook 2016.
I really don't like what it does to Outlook on my laptop. The previous version 4.1 did not do this. So beware you have been warned.
I'm running Windows 8.1 using Internet Explorer as my primary browser and using Outlook 2010.

iCloud for Windows v5

This update adds support for iCloud Photo Library and two-factor authentication for Apple ID.
iCloud for Windows v5 requires:

Microsoft Windows 7 or later
Outlook 2007 or later or (for Mail, Contacts, Calendars). Outlook 2016 is not supported.
Internet Explorer 10 or later, Firefox 22 or later, or Google Chrome 28 or later (for Bookmarks)

See iCloud system requirements for additional detail.

End of last week, Palo Alto Networks published information about the "XCodeGhost" malware. Johannes already talked about it in today's podcast episode but I searched for more details about this story. Apple is known to be very strict with its application validation process. Every time a developer submits a new (or an updated) app, it must pass multiple security checks. Why so many applications infected by XCodeGhost successfully passed them? Could we imagine that Apple has some kind of trust with reputed developers or popular applications? Until now, ~50 applications have been reported vulnerable and mainly used in China. But some are popular worldwide like WeChat.

More info below on more apps.

Because mis-use of tools listed here can result in a destroyed system, we'd urge you seek advice and/or assistance from someone proficient with these tools prior to using them.

IMPORTANT: If you are not proficient with malware removal and the tools listed here, ASK FOR HELP BEFORE USING THEM!

Welcome back to CoU no one! :)

do both of these work with PaleMoon?
seems to me umatrix would slow things down
Both should work well with PaleMoon Gordon as far as I know of. I'm using Firefox 40.0.3. umatrix doesn't slow anything down and I like the logging feature that it has.
