    Bug Fixes
    • Fix: In some systems the Initial Setup and Software Uninstaller may freeze during scanning.
    • Fix: The Duplicate File Finder may show “Range check error” when run.
    • Fix: Clicking the Start button in File Cleaner or Duplicate File Finder without editing the default tool settings can cause the tool showing “Directory does not exist” error message.
    • Fix: The Clean and SpeedUp My Computer does not always honor the Global Ignore List defined in the program settings for all types of registry errors.
    • Fix: The Delete button in Clean and SpeedUp My Computer’s result view can incorrectly be captioned with “Uninstall” rather than “Delete”. This is purely a cosmetic issue.
    • Fix: The Software Uninstaller does not honor the Global Ignore List.

    • Improvement: Improved the safety of the temporary file detection in File Cleaner and Clean and SpeedUp My Computer.
    • Improvement: Improved the accuracy of the Clean and SpeedUp My Computer.

    The March security release consists of security updates for the following software:

    • Visual Studio

    Please note the following information regarding the security updates:
    • A list of the latest servicing stack updates for each operating system can be found in ADV990001. This list will be updated whenever a new servicing stack update is released. It is important to install the latest servicing stack update.
    • Windows 10 updates are cumulative. The monthly security release includes all security fixes for vulnerabilities that affect Windows 10, in addition to non-security updates. The updates are available via the Microsoft Update Catalog.
    • Updates for Windows RT 8.1 and Microsoft Office RT software are only available via Windows Update.
    • For information on lifecycle and support dates for Windows 10 operating systems, please see Windows Lifecycle Facts Sheet.
    • In addition to security changes for the vulnerabilities, updates include defense-in-depth updates to help improve security-related features.

    When you install Notepad++ version 7.6.4, You might notice there's no more blue-trusted UAC popup. Here's the explanation for the reason that we remove code signing from Notepad++ :

    3 years ago DigiCert donated a 3 years code signing certificate to the project, and every good thing has its end, the certificate has been expired since the beginning of this year.

    Loving the icon and banner you made for me so much! Wanted to ask if you could make an adjustment sometime, no rush at all. If you wouldn't mind could you alter the icon to have a Max Headroom feel? Thinking a Max Headroom like background but do feel free to dabble. Also, would it be possible to make the banner larger? Thanks!

    "Doubling" the image size would bring it to 640x40 pixels - border to border.

    What is the "final" image size border to border including background?

    GumP can you select a background and upload here.
    Do you want the black holding line that frames the image eliminated when dropped into background image?

    Edit to add: How is the final image to be used?
    Online (lower resolution) or print (higher resolution)?
    If it's to be used for online and print production I'll supply a separate image for each application.
