This is a older vulnerability, that was identified in Jan 2015. Google refused to patch a OS that was last sold 14 moths prior. This problem still exists and will not be fixed. The Web view browser is unsafe and packaged with Android.  You cannot uninstall it, and I prefer not to root. This affects all Cellphones or Tablets running Android.

If you use Android 4.3 or previous,  it is recommended that you install a alternative browser, i.e. Palemoon or Firefox. I personally hate Chrome, so that is a personal choice. I have had the best luck with Firefox and the Adblock plus addon.

I got a Samsung table and OS update is needed. Android 4.2
I installed the Belarc Advisor App.

Was in need of update when I got this thing new but I did not know that.

Android 4.2
Vulnerabilities:  4
Severity:  3 High, 1 Low
First Installed:  Oct 17, 2014
Last Updated: Jun 6, 2015

But the same 4 Vulnerabilities have never been patched.

Google does not care.

Last thing I will buy from someone that you can not trust to update and patch something that is new.

Good thing is they get no more money from me.
